The Employment Rights Bill (ERB) - currently 199 pages long with 28 reforms for employment law - is making its way through our complicated parliamentary process. There’s no turning back! 2025 will be a busy time as we await details of the Bill's key provisions including unfair dismissal rights, guaranteed hours offers and statutory sick pay to name a few.
To help employers keep updated with the changes, announcements and key parliamentary dates, we have launched our ERB Hub and subscription service.
What is the ERB hub?
Our hub is your trusted guide through the complexities of the ERB, where you’ll find a guide to the contents of the Bill, details of consultations, draft regulations and commencement timelines. You'll find the following:
- Details about the contents of the Bill - how it will change current practice, consultation/briefing papers that have been published and details of when provisions are expected to come into force.
- Links to key documentation including the ERB itself, consultation documents and government announcements.
- Links to our insights on the ERB and other important cases, comments and announcements.
- Links to our podcasts on key employment law issues.
What is the subscription service?
Signing up for our free-of-charge subscription service means that any updates to the Bill, whether that be details of amendments, consultations or other news will be emailed to you. The email will contain details of the changes and will also include practical guidance as to how, where relevant, to respond.
