Corporate transactions with employment specialists: the perfect podcast collaboration

The sale or purchase of a business is never just about the contracts, the indemnities, the warranties and the late-night negotiations; it's about the people as well.  We have recorded a podcast based on Laura's January blog on preparing for the sale of a care or dentistry business, asking the same crucial questions with wisdom from Laura and employment insights from Michael.  As collabs go, we might not be Lennon and McCartney yet but we are certainly a good team!

Here's a snapshot of some of the questions we address:

  • What does it look like to prepare early for a transaction when there are 100 employees or more involved?
  • What does setting realistic expectations right from the start look like for all involved?
  • What does it look like to anticipate risks within your HR function and the broader transaction?
  • What does it look like to identify and hold onto key people post-transaction?

If you would like any further information or specific advice on these issues please contact Michael or Laura.
