On 9 January 2024, the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities released its long-awaited consultation on Awaab’s Law, which was introduced in the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023. The consultation deals with some of the details of the proposed legislation. The consultation is open for 8 weeks from 9 January and we would encourage all social landlords to respond to it.
