2022 – The year when decades happened

Happy New Year from the employment and pensions team here at ACS!

We saw out 2022 with the publication of our winter newsletter, looking at key issues that have arisen during the year; holiday pay for permanent workers, the end of mandatory vaccinations, competing protected rights, and industrial action across an increasing number of sectors to name a few.

With each topic reviewed we have picked out the key points and learning, highlighting areas employers may wish to focus on in 2023 as a result of last year’s developments.

Please take a look, and for those of you who prefer audible learning, there are links to our relevant podcasts.

Keep an eye out for more of those in 2023!

Please contact me or any of the team if you have any queries.

If as Lenin said: “there are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen”, 2022 has seen us through a few decades!
