At a time when the Archbishops are reviewing the faculty process for divorced ordinands, Broken Rites celebrates 40 years in existence. We can give them credit for their unstinting support of spouses of clergy men and women on divorce. The breakdown of such a marriage can mean not only loss of financial support but also of the family home with limited or no resources to draw on. Often marriage breakdown in the church is very public and very bruising. We commend them for their work and wish them all the very best for the next 40 years!
