Family courts: One fifth of divorces wrongly ending up in court - top judge

If you are going through a divorce can I commend the approach of our 'boss' Sir Andrew McFarlane, President of the Family Division and a former Midlands barrister. Quite rightly he says too many people end up in court when there are far better ways to resolve their separation arrangements. Be it around the kitchen table or in formal mediation, conversation and compromise is always the best option.
