2021 review of mergers and acquisitions in the care sector

2021 was a turbulent year for all involved in the health and social care sector. Covid-19 presented many hurdles to organisations functioning properly. Notwithstanding the difficulties, the sector proved itself resilient and many businesses and organisations coped very well.

Transactional work also faired well considering the considerable hurdles to getting deals done. Deals took longer because businesses were often locked down and many deals were moth-balled. However, as the year wore on activity increased.
