Webinar: Collaboration in children’s social care - what does the future look like?

Many will be aware that the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Act 2026 (the Act) introduces significant reforms across the children’s social care sector.

Our blog has already looked at the Government’s recently published implementation plan for the Act (see here) and the incoming expansion of Regional Care Cooperatives following a successful pathfinder programme (see here). With such wide-ranging change ahead, it is worth discussing what the future may hold.

Join us on Thursday, 17 September 2026, at 12 pm for a webinar exploring how collaboration will evolve under the Act and the government's plans for Regional Care Cooperatives - Sign up

We will be joined by Allan Madeley, Director of HOME Fostering and Children’s and Families at Social adVentures, alongside members of our Local Government team, who have been closely involved in the Greater Manchester Regional Care Cooperative pathfinder programme.

This session will help children’s social care providers and local authority children's services commissioners understand what the forthcoming changes may mean for them.

You can find more details and register for the webinar here.

If you have any questions, please contact us. We look forward to seeing you there!
