We are delighted to announce that our next session of ACsess Risk will be focused on handling complex complaints.
Recap: What is the aim of ACsess Risk?
This series is designed to help housing providers identify and address actual and potential risks that they face.
Each session will be focused on a key area of risk, featuring a briefing from experts at Anthony Collins and then time for discussion amongst attendees to share experiences, observations and ideas.
We will also have sessions that are attended by external experts who will provide their own unique outlook on risk management.
Topics will range from key issues surrounding the health and safety of residents, the regulation of social housing, how to tackle investigations/inquiries and much more.
What will the next session cover?
Our second session will be held on Tuesday 10 June 2025 between 12:30pm and 1:30pm and will be focused on how housing providers can effectively handle complex complaints.
We will discuss the Housing Ombudsman and Complaint Handling Code, the interplay between complaints and legal claims (including in respect of disrepair), when the Regulator of Social Housing needs to be notified, and our tips for complaint investigations and responses.
We will be joined by Lorna Kenyon-Pain (regulatory), Victoria Jardine (housing Governance), Bethan Jones (housing litigation), and Christopher Bowen (property litigation), who will each discuss their take on these issues as experts in their respective fields.
We are also delighted to be joined by Rachael Brooks of Pearl Comms, an award-winning PR agency based in Birmingham, who will be discussing PR and handling media enquiries in respect of complex complaints.
How can I sign up?
