We are delighted to announce our new webinar series ACsess Risk, starting 1 April 2025.
What is the aim of ACsess Risk?
This series is designed to help housing providers identify and address actual and potential risks that they face.
Each session will be focused on a key area of risk, featuring a briefing from experts at Anthony Collins and then time for discussion amongst attendees to share experiences, observations and ideas.
We will also have sessions that are attended by external experts who will provide their own unique outlook on risk management.
Topics will range from key issues surrounding the health and safety of residents, the regulation of social housing, how to tackle investigations/inquiries and much more.
What will the first session cover?
Our first session will be held on Tuesday 1 April 2025 between 12.30pm and 1.30pm and will be focussed on the management of contractors.
With the introduction of Awaab’s law on the horizon, along with, amongst other developments, further fire and building safety changes, the Procurement Act 2023 now applying to contract management and the consultation on a new Decent Homes Standard, the pressures faced by housing providers are increasing and issues with delivery by contractors could have serious and wide-ranging ramifications.
This session will explore how housing providers can manage their contractors to ensure compliance and the safety and satisfaction of residents, and discuss what providers can do to protect themselves should something go wrong.
We will be joined by Lorna Kenyon-Pain (regulatory), Suzanne Gregson (housing litigation), Andrew Millross (construction, contracts and procurement) and Paul Slinger (construction and procurement dispute resolution), who will each discuss their take on these issues as experts in their respective fields.
How can I sign up?
