Renters Reform Bill - changes to possession grounds

My detailed ebriefing sets out the significant changes proposed to the grounds for possession relevant to social landlords. This is the third in our series of ebriefings on the Renters Reform Bill following those already published by Penny Bournes and Emma Hardman.

Wide-ranging changes are proposed to try to reflect all the circumstances where assured shorthold tenancies and S21 notices would have been used e.g. in homelessness accommodation and supported housing. Other proposals affect rent arrears and anti-social behaviour grounds and asset management.

This ebriefing is essential reading for all those working in housing management and responsible for policies. We are planning a webinar in June  - details to follow soon!
