It is fantastic to see a bold scheme being brought to Manchester city centre, not just with affordable housing, but 60% affordable housing. With such a limited number of registered providers having any affordable stock in the city centre, hopefully, this will encourage not only registered providers to look again at developing in the city but also illustrate that it can stack up financially and increase the number of required affordable units on all developments.
