What should employers of social housing consider in a hybrid working policy?

Back to school and the start of #cihhousing2021 conference this week seems to be coinciding with the advent of a return to the office in a hybrid working form for many.

Anyone looking forward to seeing some colleagues and clients regularly? As an extrovert, I definitely am! What a great start to hybrid working we have had at Anthony Collins Solicitors this last past week. Long may it continue!

For a discussion on issues that social housing employers should consider when adopting and implementing a hybrid working policy or changing terms and conditions of employment, you might be interested in reading a recent interview I had with Inside Housing on the subject.

I would advocate it is of paramount importance that housing association employers retain a degree of flexibility as they go forward to service customer demand. Consultation is key here if you want to take your employees with you on a journey, and a hybrid working policy is a really great way to communicate guidance and preserve flexibility.
