Procurement Bill in the Queen's Speech

For procurement practitioners, the prospect of a further wholesale revision of the public procurement rules (so soon after the last one in 2015) holds a mixture of excitement and fear. Will things really be simpler, as the Green Paper said was the Government's objective? Or will Government simply press ahead with all of its proposals despite criticisms of several of them in the responses to the Green Paper? We won't be able to answer this question until we see the Government's draft of the Procurement Bill.

In the meantime, if you want to see all our ebriefings on the Green Paper, we have listed them and included links to each of them from our ebriefing here.
