More new transparency requirements - nothing to worry about

Procurement practitioners may be alarmed to see yet another update to the transparency requirements in PPN (Procurement Policy Note) 9/21, so soon after they were last updated in PPN 7/21. However, there's nothing to be concerned about here and no substantive changes - unless you are an NHS Foundation Trust.

The change is simply to update PPN 7/21 with the change that NHS Foundation Trusts are now classified as part of central government for the purposes of the procurement thresholds.

There is no change for other contracting authorities such as local authorities and registered providers of social housing.
